Challenge

Jo-Ann customers are coupon toting crafters, making coupons a core revenue driver and marketing tactic for this craft lover’s paradise. Unfortunately customers often skip a trip to a Jo-Ann location if their coupon is left at home. Creating a gap in potential foot-traffic and revenue.

Execution

We created a mobile web and app that syncs with the rest of Jo-Ann’s system using our RedShop platform. RedShop allows customers to seamlessly receive, transfer and store coupons in their Jo-Ann branded RedShop coupon wallet. An easy to use visually appealing Store-Finder and Product Catalog provide ratings, reviews and in-depth information to help customers while in-store or out.

Results

After only six months Jo-Ann is driving customers into their stores and producing significant incremental revenue outside of all other coupon sources. How do they know? A unique mobile coupon code is applied when redeemed at the register. In-app coupons are also receiving significantly higher redemption rates than any other existing Jo-Ann coupon channel.
